CITRUS PEEL DRYER

Talk about technologies and know-how, Citrotec has Always been one step a front. Citrotec was responsible by the Project, manufacture, and installation of the biggest Citrus peel dryer in the world, with the capacity of 80.000 lb/h.
The citrus peel dryer is a rotary equipment of high efficiency widely used in the citrus industry. The rotary drum has the function of distributing the peel enabling uniform water evaporation, generating humid hot air, which is pulled from the dryer by means of fans installed at the top of the suction box. The humid hot air from the dryer is typically recycled to a Waste Heat Evaporator (WHE).
Citrus Peel Dryer has high efficiency and low power consumption, can be used to produce high quality Pulp pellets. We can still count on a safety operation, automated and with a high drying rate.

Still about Dryers, we can´t talk about of Citrus peel with multiple turns. The citrus peel dryer is a high efficiency equipment and of low exposure of the peel to high temperatures. It is ideal to produce pectin base of high quality with color preservation. Safe and automated operation the citrus peel dryer with multiple turns is widely used in the citrus industry.
