Start-up: Ecovin JL® begins ethanol production with concentration of vinasse in Araras (SP)
Technology, designed by Citrotec® in partnership with ETech, ensures high reduction in the volume of vinasse and reuses water in agricultural and industrial processes.
Citrotec® has started up another important equipment for the national and global sugar and ethanol industry: the Ecovin JL®. The ethanol distillery together with the Evaporator for Vinasse Concentration started production in Araras (SP) this month.
The technology was designed in partnership with ETech, of renowned distillery specialist engineer Paulo Barci. Citrotec® was also responsible for the manufacturing and installation.

Ecovin JL®
A powerful stillage concentration evaporator, the Ecovin JL® is a concentration system that, using the descending turbulent mist principle and coupled to the distillation columns, allows the production of alcohol with already concentrated stillage, without additional steam consumption.
